Indulge your inner ballerina with accessories from Tamsin Cooper’s new range for the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
Tamsin Cooper’s latest accessory range is likely to appeal to any woman who dreamed of becoming a ballerina in her youth. The Royal New Zealand Ballet commissioned the Arrowtown-based accessories designer to create a range of merchandise to be sold at theatres where the RNZB performs, as well as on its website at nzballet.org.nz
The result is a collection of fun and feminine pieces, available in black, ruby red, and pale pink shades, that feature a hand-embroidered ballet slipper design. Items range from evening clutch purses to hair ties, as well as Cooper’s signature brooches.
“The ballet epitomises all that is graceful and feminine, and there traits have been intrinsic inspiration in my product design,” says Cooper. “I hope that with this range of fashion accessories, I have allowed a little piece of the magic that the RNZB brings to its performances to be taken away as a memento and treasured for many years to come.”
The accessories are also available from Cooper’s online store and from selected retailers across the country. For details, see tamsincooper.co.nz
