Amoung the glitz and glamour for which the fashion world is renowned, Arrowtown
designer Tamsin Cooper is refreshingly down to earth and unpretentious.
Just back from Auckland Fashion Week, where she wooed buyers with her coat selection for winter 2009, Ms Cooper said the mood among buyers and fashionistas was surprisingly buoyant and positive.
Wearing her favourite skirt, a colourful vintage 1950s number brought at an antique fair in Australia, Ms Cooper said similarly bright colours featured for next year's fashions.
"You'll see lots of bright red, apple green, hot pink, turquoise blue and a lovely iris blue."
